PG-13 because of the violence. No, it's not that
bad.

The Death
December 20, 1998
One day Carlos Miranda and Ashley Hammond were
taking a walk down by the park when some sort
of bat-like creature stepped out infront of them.
"Who are you?" Carlos screamed at the monster.
"You don't remember me Carlos? I am Count Nocturne."
The bat-like creature replied. "What? We destroyed
you a long time ago Nocturne." Carlos replied.
"Carlos, Let's get out of here." Ashley said
to her very stubborn friend. "Alright.Let's Rocket!"
Carlos said, "Galaxy Gliders, Hang ten!" Ashley yelled.

Back on the Megaship, Andros Langencamp was reading
a book when he heard Carlos and Ashley fighting over
something. "What are you two fighting about now?"
Andros yelled. "None of your business Andros!" Carlos
yelled back at him. "Weird." Andros muttered under his
breath. "Andros, Carlos and Ashley ran into a monster
called Count Nocturne. I believe The others know about him."
DECA, the computer,said to her lonley friend.
"Count Nocturne hmmmm? Well this bat-brain is going down.
Thats for sure." Andros said.
"It's not as easy as you think Andros.
This monster can turn you into a Vampire. Like me."
Carlos told his friend.
"What? Carlos, you're not a vampire."
Andros said with a laugh. "Andros, He's not kidding.
Carlos turned into a vampire last year because of this monster.
He is a danger to us all." Ashley said.
"Well than. We need to be careful fighting this particular monster."
Andros said. Just the, a message came on the screen.
Reading as follows:
"Rangers, I am Count Nocturne. For those of you who don't
Know me. I believe I turned one of you into a vampire.
Which one was it?
Carlos I believe.Ah. Yes, it was you. Now the spell has
come back, but you are not evil anymore. Astronema will
win this battle rangers. Don't get into my way, or else."
"This makes no sense, guys." Carlos said to his
disturbed friends."Why did he come back after a year?"
Ashley asked. "Who knows Ash." Carlos answered his
friends question. "Well, what does Count Nocturne want?"
Andros asked. "We need to find that out soon." A
mysterious voice said to them. "Who? ZHANE?!" Ashley
yelled. "Yep it's me." Zhane said as Ashley ran to
give him a hug. "Aw shucks." Zhane said blushing
a little. "Aw man.It's good to have you back."
Andros said, a tear falling down his cheek.
"Zhane, we really need your help. This new
monster called Count Nocturne is here. He can turn
all of us into vampires. He already got me
once." Carlos said. Just then, the alarms went
off. "DECA, What is it?" Zhane asked the computer.
"Unknown lifeform aboard megaship." DECA replied.
"Alright guys, be ready for whatever hits us."
Andros said, a little worried. Just then a
small boy, about the age of 12 walked in, and said,
"Hi guys. It's me Justin." The others were surprised
to see him here. Andros and Zhane were wondering
why he was there with them. "Who are you?" Zhane asked
"Me? Oh, I'm Justin. The Blue Turbo Ranger." Justin
replied. "Justin, Count Nocturne is back." Carlos said.
"Oh man, does that mean....." Justin started to say.
"I'm a vampire." Carlos finished his statement. "Uh oh,
I hope your a good vampire." Justin said a little worried.
"I am. Don't worry. If I try to bite, Zhane over there
will turn me into fried vampire." Carlos said, joking.
"That sounds too gross for me, Carlos." Zhane said.
The alarms went off again. "DECA, What is it this time?"
Zhane asked. "Count Nocturne is attacking innocent people
on Earth. Hurry Rangers." DECA said to her teenage friends.
"Justin, are you coming?" Andros asked. "Who me? Oh yeah!"
Justin said.
On Earth, the rangers see Count Nocturne attacking a little
girl, but he stops when he sees the rangers watching.
"Oh good, the main dish has finally been surved." Count
Noucturne said. "I don't think so, Nocturne!" Carlos
said. "Your a vampire, Carlos. Come on, join me."
Count Nocturne said, trying to get control over Carlos
once again. "Never Count Nocturne. I won't betray my
friends again!" Carlos yelled at the monster. "You'll
change your mind sooner or later, Carlos." Count Nocturne
said. Then he disappeared. "I don't like this Carlos."
Andros said, sounding nervus."Don't worry guys. I won't
turn evil again." Carlos said. What he didn't know was
that it would be the last time he saw one of his friends.

Back on the Megaship, Andros and Zhane were sorting
out files from past fights. "Andros, what's this one
from?" Zhane asked, holding up a dusty file. "I don't
know Zhane. Let me see it." Andros said, staring at the
old dusty file. When he opened it, to his surprise,
there was a picture of a girl that was killed by
a vampire 10 years ago. She looked like she was only
about 7 in the picture. "Hm, I wonder who she is." Andros
said, more talking to himself than anything. "Who is
she, Andros?" Zhane asked. Andros started looking
down the file. Some things were very interresting.
Then he caught her name.He was more surprised than
anything. "Her name is....... Akala Zenith." Andros
said, his heart skipping a beat. "Zenith?" Zhane
asked. "Yeah. She was killed by a vampire, well thats
what the file says." Andros replied. "I never had a
sister. You know that." I know, but it looks like you do,
um, I mean, did." Andros said, shaken. Just then they
heard someone shifting his or her weight on to the
door frame. That's when Andros and Zhane saw Carlos
staring at them. Eyes flaring like fire. Then in a raspy
voice he said,"I was the one who killed her. She was your
sister, Zhane. All Zeniths must die." On that note,
Carlos jumped at Zhane, knocking him to the ground, then
he moved in for the kill, and Zhane was dead, or so they
thought.
The days past very slowly for the Rangers. One teammate
dead, and a deadly vampire on the loose. What were they
to do? The needed Zhane, but no, he was dead. Ashley, for
some reason, took it the hardest. She loved him. Now
two of the people that she cared the most about, were
gone.She was afraid they would never return. She was about
to get a big surprise.........

December 25, 1998
Christmas '98
"Merry Christmas guys!" Ashley yelled. They all heard it
because Ashley was in Semu-Deck 2. That was the closest
to the Rangers chambers. "Ashley, quiet down! We all are
trying to get some sleep, if you don't mind!" Andros
yelled through his chamber door. "Oh that's it. I'll just
get up." Andros said, sleepily. "Good morning!" Ashley
yelled, as she scrambled to give Andros a hug.
"Good morning, Ashley." Andros said, sounding like he
hadn't slept in days. "Nightmares?" Ashley asked.
"Yep." Andros replied. They all had been having nightmares
since the 20th. "About Zhane and Carlos?" Ashley asked.
"Ever since the 20th, I haven't slept well at all. They were
good friends. What made Carlos snap like that?" Andros was
asking himself more than anyone. "We don't know yet, Andros."
Ashley told her friend. "We'll find Carlos." She tried
hard to get him to forget what happened on the 20th. Even
though it was still fresh in their minds.
"We can't bring Zhane back! Carlos killed him!" Andros
was screaming at the top of his lungs now. "Andros! Cool it!
I don't want to hear you scream like that on Christmas. Today
is supposed to be a happy day." Ashley said, trying to get
her friend to stop screaming. "Maybe Zhane isn't dead.
We don't know if Carlos killed him or not. Carlos
dragged him away. He could still be alive." Ashley was trying
to get him to stop crying. "You think so?" Andros asked, just
then a figure stepped into semu-deck 2. "Who.....Who's there?"
Ashley asked. "Merry Christmas guys!" The figure said. When
he stepped out they saw who it was. "Carlos!? You're not
a vampire anymore!" Ashley yelled as she ran over to him.
"Nope, I'm not a vampire. All thanks to Zhane." Carlos stepped
away, and there was Zhane sitting on the ground, a tear falling
from his left cheek. He made no attempt to wipe it away.
"Hey guys. Looks like Ashley was right Andros. I'm not dead."
Zhane said, as Ashley gave him a hug. "Ashley was right." Andros
said, looking at his friend. "Girlfriends have a way to know
whether their boyfriends or friends are dead or not." Ashley said,
laughing. "Merry Chrismas guys." Zhane said, as he was standing up.
Just then, everyone else wook up to the sight of Ashley and Zhane
hugging and crying about something, and Carlos and Andros
chatteringaway. "Zhane and I are getting married!" Ashley cried, as
she showed
them the ring. "What?" Cassie asked, surprised. "Ashley and I are
getting married tonight." Zhane said. "Congrats." TJ said to the
new couple. "So, what color roses?" Cassie asked. "Oh, um....
we were going for some space roses in silver and yellow." Ashley
said. "So what are they chatting about?" Cassie asked, pointing
to the Black and Red rangers in the for left corner. "About
the wedding. They're arguing over who gets to be the best man."
Zhane said, flashing a small grin to Ashley.

January 01, 1999
New Years Day '99
"So, how many secters are left to search, Andros?" Ashley asked.
"About 3. You can stop at any time. I can finish the search.
Everyone else is already asleep. You need to try and get some
yourself." Andros told his friend. "Maybe you're right. Although,
I think you need more sleep then any of us, Mr. Langencamp."
Ashley
said. "Maybe you're right, Mrs. Zenith. I'll try to get some sleep
tonight. Goodnight DECA." Andros said to the computer. "Goodnight
Andros." DECA replied. "Oh, Ashley. I need to tell you something."
DECA said, once Andros was out of the room. "What DECA?" Ashley
asked. "Andros is not feeling very well, and I think it is
something serious. He won't go see a docter. Could you try to get
him to one?"
DECA asked. "Um, sure thing DECA. What's wrong with him?"
Ashley asked.
"I really don't know. He's been vomitting a lot at night, and he
is very pale. Paler then usual." DECA said. "Flu. Andros caught
the
flu." Ashley said, holding back some laughter. "What is the Flu?"
DECA asked.
 
"The flu is like a disease, except it just makes you
sick and weak." Ashley replied. "Oh, goodnight Ashley." DECA said.
"Night DECA." Ashley replied. "How would Andros get the Flu?"
Ashleysaid to herself. "I don't know." Andros said.
"Maybe I caught itfrom you, Ashley!" Andros yelled at her.
"I've never had the flu in my life Andros!" Ashley replied. "Well,
now you will die before you ever get it!" Andros said,
running at Ashley full speed with a large
knife in his hand. On that note Ashley screamed. Her scream
was blocked out because the knife dug into her chest. Andros
dropped to his knees crying. Andros was still crying when
Zhane and Carlos entered the room.
"Ashley!" Zhane cried. Zhane picked up his wife. "You did this
didn't you Andros!?" Zhane screamed at him. "Yes, I did Zhane!
I would do it again if I had a Chance!" Andros screamed. That
was the last day they saw Andros.
January 2, 1999
Ashley's Funeral
As they walked Ashley's coffin down the long path, Zhane began
to cry his heart of. He loved her, and now she was gone. Murdered
by his best friend. He knew that he would never see her again.
" 'Til death do we part, Ashley." Zhane said as they lowered
her coffin into her grave. " 'Til Death do we part."
